Pain happens when you care. You can't love someone without making yourself open to their problems, their fears, and their imperfections. But to responsibly and willingly make yourself open to these things is to show that you truly care about the person you are with or someone you love. There is no getting around arguments, disagreements, or sacrificing in some fashion. You do these things because you care, love, cherish, honor, and respect that person. Anything less than giving 100% isn't good enough. Pain will happen. Failures will happen. But there will be successes and triumphs that you cannot put a price on. The endearment between two people is a beautiful thing and it is never easy to maintain.
